I finished my test knit for Leethal. Took the photos at the Woodburn Tulip Festival. Shawl was knit with Madeline Tosh and you can read my notes on my Ravelry project page.

I’m not trying to turn my blog into a knitting blog or anything, but this is what happens when you’re holed up for a few days trying to get over being sick. You have all the time in the world to knit! A friend of mine handspun this stunning yarn and I fell hard for it. I bought it from her ages ago and just now found a project for it. The lace on this shawl is supposed to look like ginkgo leaves. Pretty! You can see more photos and read more details on my Ravelry page. I still have about 100 yards of this yarn left so I’m knitting a quick lace scarf with it- I’ll post pictures of that when I’m done.

I knit myself a wrap using the leftover pink and red from my Strawberry Shortcake mitts.

Shawl that I recently finished knitting for a bribe for SLUG Queen.

This is the second time I’ve made Leethal’s Betiko shawl.  This time I’m knitting stripes with Zauberball. 

Finished my Charlize shawl.  Beautiful yarn to knit with.

My shawl won first place!  I hold the title for best professional knitter in Lane County for the second year now.  Yay!!
