So there’s this really great thing called The Awesome Sweater Project. This awesome sweater gets mailed all over the world while people wear and photograph it’s awesomeness. I got it this past weekend and asked some Old S.L.U.G. Queens to join me in celebrating awesomeness in Eugene, Oregon. It’s off to someone in Texas now. Photos taken by Roger Rix.
Only fair to post Bailey’s Halloween costumes. In 2006 he was due around Thanksgiving but came mid October. So he was still in the NICU for his first Halloween. I made him the teeniest, tiniest little pirate hat. 2007- Deviled Egg. 2008- He was Mr. Nielson to my Pippi Longstocking. 2009- A bat. 2010- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle. 2011- Vampire. This year he wants to be Captain America. Another store bought costume. Sigh.
Melissa and Claire of Paper Moon Photo Studio took the best pictures of me and my boys this past weekend at a birthday party. Melissa also took those amazing SLUG Queen photos of me. But seriously, how cute is my family?

It’s me!!!! This is me!!!!! Melissa took an amazing photo! I can’t wait to see the rest. I want to be Slug Queen so badly!! Be there Friday, August 10th to cheer me on!
30 Day Photography Challenge- Day 16: Long exposure.
This is simply my husband twirling a glow stick on a piece of string. I added a second photo just because it’s too cool not to share.
30 Day Photography Challenge- Day 5 & 6: From a high angle, from a low angle.
Our downtown library has a great winding staircase. I thought it would be great for these two challenges so I waited to take them on the same day.
We also took a family day and drove up to The Woodburn Tulip Festival. Tulips are my favorite flower, I love going there!
Interesting project of transformations from human to doll by Alex Sandwell Kliszynski.Alex is a photographer who does wedding photography and portraits, but he has also produces curious series of art photography.
