So there’s this really great thing called The Awesome Sweater Project. This awesome sweater gets mailed all over the world while people wear and photograph it’s awesomeness. I got it this past weekend and asked some Old S.L.U.G. Queens to join me in celebrating awesomeness in Eugene, Oregon. It’s off to someone in Texas now. Photos taken by Roger Rix.
My guerrilla knit group, The Eugene Knotty Knitters did our springtime yarn bomb this morning. April Showers, Knit Flowers. Check it out if you’re local. 15th and Orchard on the UO Campus. You can see more photos on our facebook or flickr page.
Every year a local gift shop has a wacky Easter bonnet contest. This is my first year entering. Knitted and crocheted buunnies, chicks, hatching eggs, flowers and a slug or two. Here’s to hoping I win!
It’s my husbands birthday today so I took him out to Falling Sky Brewing for his birthday lunch. I got 2 Towns Ciderhouse Cherry Poppin Cider and a pulled pork sandwich with poutine. Oh yeeeeah! My silly kids got handmade cranberry, blueberry soda while my hunky husband ordered a few beers. Now off to the Pork house for Passover Seder!
